  • Testing And Usability

    Your brand new website is almost complete, but there is one final task remaining. This task is often overlooked but is by far the most important. Testing a website for bugs and usability is incredibly important and if issues are not addressed and resolved they can produce dire, long lasting consequences. 

    Woo them, then inform them

    During day to day life first impressions mean everything, and websites are no different. It's far too easy for a visitor to click the exit button, so capturing their full attention, and doing so quickly, is absolutely necessary. This needs to happen within the first 3-4 seconds or else they will move on to the next search result.

    Once you have their attention, you need to guide them towards the information they seek. Optimizing your website's navigation, with contact forms at the ready, should provide all the guidance they need. However, if your business has a promotion or specializes in a niche area, then you need to guide or inform your visitors accordingly.

    Don't set it and forget it!

    Your website is now complete. It's online, it has been optimized for usability and you are finally getting some contact form submissions, great! Should you just ignore your website analytics and be happy with the results you're receiving?  Sure... if you are content with the bare minimum.
